My comment to Shaughnessy's article

Poested in response to Dan's article in the Globe:

Dan, instead of writing books about made up curses that made you a lot of money, maybe you and your colleagues should have been doing some real reporting and asked hard questions of players and ownership. I have guess as to why you did not. Because you and other sportswriters know that there is more money to be made by sucking up to the sports heroes to feed the fans' genuine love of sports. You're a fraud and a hypocrite Dan, just like Mazz and every other writer who made money off these players without ever asking the tough questions.

I don’t know where I’m going
I’m on my way I’m taking my time
But I don’t know where
Goodbye to Errors the wort signing ever
Seeing me and Julio

See you, me and Julio

Sox-a-palooza

Day 3 of Sox-a-poolza 2009. Started in DC last Thursday with Smoltz. Solid win last night here in Baltimore. Another start for Smoltz tonight. A good performance is key. Charm City full of RSN.

Yankees Go Home -- But Feel Free to Come Back

What I Learned:

1. Ellsbury: One Fast Dude
2. Jason Bay: Moving up the Clutch List
3. Youk: A complete player
4. I have had it with fans on camera with cell phones
5. What's with the headphones on the Giant Glass Guy behind homeplate?

6. 10 in row, 9 game home sweep. Nice -- but the Sox are still in 2nd place. Enjoy, but remember, it's still April.

Change

Were the last five years just an Impossible Dream?
Did the Nation (and the Dow) reach a peak with the October 2007 Team?
Ray, baseball may be a constant, but who can we really trust anymore?
It was a love affair twixt a town and a team;
Oh Manny, you came and you gave us two titles, but we sent you away.
The last shall be first and first shall be last, at least in the AL East.
Maybe it's time not to be so greedy.
Just enjoy the moment, will you ever forget the ground ball stabbed by Foulke?
The times they are a changing, but the more things change. . . .
Go Red Sox.
